Our team is made up of artists, teachers, and parents who love to create and share drawing ideas that are fun and simple.

Meet the Team

Sam Johnson – Founder

Sam is a dad and an artist who loves sharing his drawing ideas with others. He started Things to Draw to help kids everywhere enjoy drawing as much as he does.

Emily Smith – Illustrator

Emily creates many of the drawings you see on our site. She loves animals and often draws cute creatures for everyone to enjoy.

Alex Lee – Writer

Alex writes easy-to-follow instructions to help kids learn how to draw all sorts of things. He believes everyone can draw with a little practice.

Our Story

Things to Draw began when Sam realized his kids loved drawing but sometimes ran out of ideas. He wanted to create a place where kids could always find something new and fun to draw.
